That more people talk about Sarah Palin’s legs, makeup, and inability to express a coherent thought, comparable to some of her peers, like, such as, Miss Teen USA South Cackalacky 2007, only shows that people are concentrating on her strengths as a “successful woman”. If she had any other strengths that were apparent, we would have a lot more to talk about.

Since she’s really just a model, I can’t see any of the sexism that she and her cabal have been assigning to this Newsweek cover. I figured that I would help them out.

I couldn’t decide whether a classic upright would be a good choice, although that was the classic “sexist” image that came to mind initially. Imagine: a 1950’s housewife, glad to have her husband doing his part by providing for her and their children with a job he could rely on and trying to make her life a little bit easier along the way while she did her part, taking the children to school, making sure everyone was eating correctly, etc. This pinhead would probably prefer a modern soccer mom vacuum atrocity with bendy parts, two canisters, and fog lights. Even though the style may not be appropriate, I went with the classic because Sarah Palin is old.

I’m sure many Boy Scouts, veterans, and pedants have noticed that she’s essentially desecrating the flag by violating the U.S. Flag Code in this picture. She was also seen wearing the flag like a shawl over here. (I bet she can’t wait for the Snuggie/Slanket version.)

§ 8 (b) The flag should never touch anything beneath it, such as the ground, the floor, water, or merchandise.

§ 8 (d) The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free.

§ 8 (i) The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever.

Well, she falls under both “beneath it” and “merchandise”, there is maybe some festooning and definitely some drawing up with folds going on, and this is 100% advertising. Sure, violating the Flag Code is not punishable, but it’s obvious hypocrisy from someone so “pro-America”. She doesn’t even know…

Countdown to lawsuit/DMCA takedown notice begins….. NOW!

Before you try and sue me or send a DMCA takedown notice, I’m quite aware of the fair use provisions in 17 U.S.C. § 107 for parodies, satires, and criticism. Don’t waste your time and money.
